Online Assessments
Aptitude Tests (Differential Aptitude Test) Available in English and Afrikaans
Suitable for grade 7 and further to assist in selecting subjects and appropriate school placement.
The Differential Aptitude Tests offer a series of different aptitude tests intended to assess the learner's competence in the following areas:
Vocabulary, Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning (figures), Computations, Reading Comprehension, Comparison, Spatial Visualisation, Mechanical Insight and Memory (recall of reading material).
Using the results of the various tests guidelines are given on selection of subjects.
It is important to take remember that there are other factors that also need to be taken into consideration in determining a learner's success, for example, intellectual functioning, motivation and other contextual variables.
The Process
- Book and pay the Online Assessment
- Within 12 hours you will receive an email with instructions and a link to the online assessment. Bookings made before 16h00 will receive a link on the same day.
- Complete the assessment in English or Afrikaans and submit online
- Within 10 days you will receive a detailed report and findings and recommendations will be discussed during an online feedback session with parents and learner
Online Completion of Assessment: 4-5 hours
Fee: R950.00 Includes report and online feedback session with parents and learner.

Career Assessments
A comprehensive career assessment involves the following assessments:
- Aptitude Test to determine your areas of strength in terms of verbal and non-verbal reasoning, comprehension, basic arithmetic skills, spatial awareness, mechanical insight and memory for reading material.
- Personality Traits Assessment to ensure that your career choice closely matches your personality profile.
- Vocational Interests to establish what interests you in terms of the world of work.
- Values and Priorities to explore what you see as important for self-fulfillment.
Using the results of the various tests recommendations are made on a learner's potential success in a course or career and the requirements and study or training options available. This will help the learner in making informed career decisions.
The Process
- Book and pay the Online Assessment
- Within 24 hours you will receive an email with instructions and links to the online assessments. Bookings made before 16h00 will receive a link on the same day.
- Complete assessments in English or Afrikaans and submit online
- Within 10 days you will receive a detailed report and findings will be discussed during an online feedback session with parents and learner
Online Completion of Assessment: 7-8 hours (2 x 4 hour sessions recommended)
Fee: R3,000 Includes comprehensive report and feedback session with parents and learner.
